From Classroom Teacher to CEO - and Mentor to Tutors Ready to Do the Same

You didn’t become a tutor because you wanted to run a business.

You became one because you love helping students learn – because teaching lights you up.

But as many tutors discover, doing what you love and running it like a business are two completely different things.

I get it – because I’ve lived every stage of that journey.

My Story

I started tutoring while I was still in university – teaching part-time between classes, balancing lesson prep with coursework. After graduation, I stepped into the classroom full-time, where I learned the realities of education – the joy, the challenge, and the exhaustion that comes with giving everything to your students.

Along the way, I kept tutoring.
That side passion eventually grew into something bigger – and before long, I was building a tutoring practice that needed systems, support, and structure.

What began as helping a few students after school evolved into Phoenix Education & Learning Centre, a thriving, multi-location tutoring company with a talented team of educators serving hundreds of students each year.

That experience – moving from classroom teacher to confident CEO – changed my life.
It proved that tutors and teachers can build businesses that are not only successful but sustainable, structured, and deeply fulfilling.

Why I Created the Tutor Boss Society

As my own business grew, other tutors started asking the same questions I once had:

“How do I find consistent students?”
“How do I lead a team without burning out?”
“How do I make this business work without losing my love for teaching?”

The Tutor Boss Society was born from those conversations.

It’s a space for tutors who want to build real businesses – with structure, clarity, and confidence – without losing the heart of why they started.

Because you don’t need to work harder; you just need to lead smarter.

What I Believe

N

Great Tutors Make Great Leaders

When you have the right tools and support, your business will thrive.

N

Structure Creates Freedom

Systems don’t confine you; they create calm and space to teach.

N

Progress Over Perfection

Real growth comes from consistent action, not perfectionism.

N

Community Matters

You don’t have to do it alone. Growth happens faster together.

What I Do Today

Today, through the Tutor Boss Society, I help tutors around the world make the same transformation – from educator to empowered entrepreneur.

I bring the exact tools, systems, and strategies I use every day in my own business – Phoenix Education & Learning Centre, a thriving, multi-location tutoring company that continues to serve hundreds of students each year.

That means everything I teach inside Tutor Boss Society comes directly from real-world experience – what’s actually working right now for tutors and education teams.

Whether you’re just getting started or ready to scale, you’ll find the guidance, mindset, and structure to build a tutoring business that feels steady, joyful, and truly yours.

Real-World Experience. Real-World Results.

Before founding the Tutor Boss Society, I spent years as a classroom teacher and built a multi-location tutoring company that continues to serve hundreds of students through Phoenix Education & Learning Centre.

My mission is simple: to help tutors build calm, confident, and successful businesses that last.
